What are Community Grants?
Community Grants aimed to provide learning opportunities to help unemployed people move closer towards the labour market.
Grants of £2,000 to £12,000 were made available to small voluntary and community organisations to provide learning opportunities to help unemployed people aged 18 and over to move into further training or employment.
The Grant targeted the following priority groups:
- people with disabilities and health conditions
- lone parents
- people aged 50 and over
- people from ethnic minorities
- Carers
